 We have an old whirlpool gas dryer that quit heating - the tumbler still works. The fuse is good, we replaced the Igniter and have continuity everytwhere. Only one of the cables coming from the coils leading to the igniter shows a low voltage - 26 (the the incoming cable reads 126) - Any ideas on...

 I have a Kemmore dryer that has stopped heating. The dryer tumbles and all apears to be good except no heat. I have checked the following: Thermal cutout - 0 ohms - Good Exhaust Thermostat - 0 ohms - good Heater thermostat - 0 ohms - good Heating element - 0 ohms - good Wiring - all good...

 It has a weird smell where the heat blows into the dryer It is getting extremely hot I have replaced the thermostat and 2 other thing but it still is over heating what could be the problem.:(

I'm working on my mothr in laws 10 yr old kenmore dryer that runs, but the heat element does not get hot. I have taken the element out found no breaks in it, it ohms good. I have 110 volts on both wires to the element. What am I missing ? View more questions Search
