    Cartilage piercing
    My sister pierced my cartilage Thursday night and I play softball so you are not allowed any jewelry at all, I have a tournament next week and was wondering how long can I take it out for before it will close up...

    Well it is doubtful that a few hours will seal cartillage, but you definitely will keep it from healing at all, and possibly increase your risk of infection by taking out a fresh piercing too often.

    It will close up almost right away that's why you are not to tack it out until 12 weeks pass.
