    How hard is it to replace starter on 24 hp sears lawn tractor
    24 hp Sears Lawn Tractor. Ran fine, next day would not crank. Turned over a few times, made bumping noise around starter. Battery, fuel, OK. Changed out selonoid. Clicked a couple of times, will not turn over at all? Does this sound like starter? How hard to replace. Tractor is about 5-6 years old.

    Easy to replace but you need to do some checking before you swap parts on our suspicion. Try jumping to the starter directly from a battery. It only has a red/hot wire because your ground is the frame of the starter
