At 9 I was raped and through that I gave birth at age 10 to a babygirl. As I'm getting older my ambition is to be involved in law enforecement. When my report was filed my mom handled everything but the guy ran away. As far as I know, police never found him... Years have past and I want to know what happened.

There is little you can do. If the per was never arrested, I assume that he is hiding under an assumed name. You can try checking for outstanding warrants to see if the warrant for his arrest is still outstanding. You can also check with the local prosecutor's office for the disposition of your case.

You go to the police department where the case was filed, and ask to talk to someone who will look the case up and see the status of the case. If a warrant was issued, it would still be valid.
If he was not charged and no warrant was issued, most likely the SOL has passed.
