    How do you wire a amp meter for craftsman riding mower
    The craftsman riding mower's amp meter was removed, I don't know where to splice the new amp meter in

    Are there any wiring harness parts left open/dangling?Model number would be helpful

    I should have included that from the beginning. The mdl# is 917.257090. The wiring harness is complete, however, there are no loose wires. The wires are all spliced and I can't figure out which wire goes where. A owners manual came with it, but the schematic is not readable. It does look as though the amp meter gets wired in after the inline fuse on one side. The other side appears to go the ignition harness, but which wire. Hope this helps get to a solution

    Hi,
    Few manuals seem available, but here is a picture of the wiring harness. It is item #12 and the hardware is #F.
