Tough question considering you have butchered the English language.
Why would you have to get another truck? Isn't this one covered by the warrantee?? Really need more information from you.

    That would be "warranty".

Right answer, by the way. Without knowing MrsMars' state or country, it would be impossible to say if any "limit law" applies. Normally, she should consult her warranty.

Is "joe machens" a used car dealer?

Are you perhaps asking about a "lemon" law? Many states including MO have laws to protect consumers from buying a "lemon" from a dealer. Here is a link to MO's law:

MO Lemon Law | Missouri State Lemon Law Statutes

If you are trading the truck in on another one, it may be that the value of the truck is not enough to cover the down payment of the new vehicle. But if you want out help you need to explain, in understandable english what is happening.

Normally most cars or trucks from used car lots are purchased "as is" and there is no warranty. So in fact normally they could just make you keep paying for the truck that broke down, If they are just take it back and let you buy another one, that is not a bad deal considering what most places do.
