    Legal demand payment returned
I had a legal hold on my bank account. The entire amount owing was paid off, but while I was waiting for my account to be released back to me, my bank forwarded a "legal demand payment" to the courts. This all happened in the span of a weekend, and I would like to know how long it will take for the court to release my money back to me since the debt was paid off the day before this "legal demand payment" was made, but paperwork wasn't filed in time to stop it?

If it has to do with courts, it could take a while. Why not ask your bank?

Have you presented the court proof of payment ? You may even have to appear before the judge for him to order it returned.
