    Water leaking in Refrigerator
I have a Kenmore Coldspot model # 106.74262400. We continually have water dripping towards the back of the refrigerator from under the freezer. We also seem to be getting water pooling and freezing in the floor of the freezer.

You need to empty out freezer and unplug the refrigerator, also empty out refrigerator section. Take out all shelves so you can see what you are doing. The plastic cover to bottom of freezer covers the coils. If this is side-by-side you will have a cover on the coils that you remove and you will then see the drain pan at bottom. Let it totally thaw out before doing anything; ice will cause damage. Once thawed out take out screws on each side of cover and slide out cover then carefully remove Styrofoam cover. You will then be able to see drain pan and drain. Clean this out with soap and water and make sure it drains okay. You may need to push a coat hanger wire down drain to clear it out, but be very careful to not force anything: There is a drain heater on outside of drain in freezer. Once you have it all clean on all inside drains remove front and rear bottom covers to slide out drain pan then spray down coils and fan blades with soap. Brush fan blades and wash out coils well with water hose sprayer. Clean and replace drain pan then replace covers before starting back up. When you have cover off freezer check the defrost heater. You can use a meter to check continuity, but you can see if it's burned in two. If you see that it's bad you will replace heater and t-stat wired in series to it.

I actually found another post that was spot-on. I removed the back cover of the freezer and found that the drain had frozen over. I used a hair dryer and melted the ice frozen in the drain until it cleared and then ran hot water down drain to make sure it was all melted. Reassembled everything and problem solved. Thanks for the response.

Hopefully that will work for you if it was only clogged. You still need to clean the coils on a regular basis or you will lose the compressor when you least expect it.
