    Collecting on a Promissory note
    In what case / instance would the 12 year rule apply? I have a promissory note from 2005 and the debtor is in Australia. I want to sue in Australia but as the note is 7 yrs old what are the conditions. There is no date limitation on the note and it states he will pay without argument, signed and witnessed by a UK solicitor

    Thanks

    {Mod Note: piggybacked question moved to its own thread. Refers to a response that said the SOL could be as much as 12 years}
