How to replace light bulb in AC-552 F526 "CC" ceiling fan?
I have a 2001 ceiling fan with an enclosed globe. We've tried for an hour to take it off to replace the light bulb, but nothing seems to work. Please help!

Apparently no one here has that fan so as to help you.

    From one website:

Hampton Bay is the store brand of Home Depot. Hampton Bay fans are made specifically for Home Depot by a variety of manufacturers (including SMC, King of Fans, and Minka Group) and are sold only at Home Depot stores.

The fan is too old to find any info on the net, so we cannot see what it looks like, and no manuals can be found.

Your best bet is to contact Home Depot for assitance:

Many twist off if no screws. Some have to be forceablly pulled off as they are secured by spring clips.

That one twists off. That's a Minka Aire fan. I have one too... but the globe just broke! Anyone have one they're getting rid of?

My ceiling fan pull chain just broke, but it's the one for the main light in the ceiling fan, not the fan itself. Combined, there are 3 pull chains on this old thing - 1 for the fan blades, 1 for the 4 outer smaller light fixtures, and 1 for a large center globe-type light. This latter one, the...
