Is this my hymen
I mastubrated with a (1inch in diameter) tampon.I did not bleed, but I thought I break my hymen.I read on the net that I can see my hymen with a mirror. I saw something that looked crescentic.IS THIS MY HYMEN AND WHY IT Didn't BREAK WHEN I INSERTED THE TAMPON?

My g/f isn't sure if her hymen is still there, because she said she may have broke it when she put in tampons. Even though she has never had sex would she still be considered a virgin? Thanks.
