    Am I missing something?
    Apologies for the long story.

I met my ex--girlfriend in the 2nd semester of my freshman year of high school and she was a sophomore in art class. I didn't start falling for her until the end of that semester and I didn't tell her how I felt until the beginning of the following school year. She said she liked me too but didn't quite know if she could get into a relationship (this was the first relationship for the both of us) Fast forward to November and we started dating. Everything was great at first and she was pretty much everything I could ask for in a girl.

Now into the end of February I started to feel as if she wasn't as invested in the relationship as much and I was over concerned with little details. She almost broke up with me when I confronted her with it but I convinced her to stay. Again everything was going fine and she was starting to change for the better but I apparently wasn't. A month later I relapsed into the same state but this time she said she understood and wanted to work through it.

This was a bit over a week prior to the break up but the time between that and the break up everything seemed to be going fine and I was trying to change for good. Then on that Saturday (March 31st) I got mad at her over something stupid (this was the first time I showed anger towards her) at a grocery store parking lot.

I got over it a short time later that day and she was acting normal. Then the following day I got a message from her saying she was extremely upset at what I did and broke up right there. I was a wreck. A few days afterward I apologized for what I did and she said it was okay and she forgave me, but we weren't getting back together.

A few days after that I asked her if we gave it some time could we try again and told her I wasn't a violent person and that every relationship has its ups and downs. She decided to stay firm with her decision and said time will make her stronger in her choice.

I already threw out all of her stuff and am already in NC (the main way we communicated out of school was through YouTube so I deleted my account) but I feel like I'm missing something, like there's something I need to do but I haven't done yet. Am I doing this right or is there something else I should/shouldn't do?

Also, I should mention I'm fifteen, and she's sixteen. And should I cut off all contact with her for good or should I try speaking to her after I've completely moved on?

Feelings of anxiety are common after break up. Sit still, but keep busy, time will let those feelings fade.

LOL, you miss being with her and are not sure what to do with your time, or yourself. Go have your summer fun with friends and family, and see if the new school year brings even better options, and opportunities.

    Usually it does.
