2003 Honda Civic Momentary Loss of Electrical Power
I have a 2003 Honda Civic, 106K Miles. While driving down the road intermittently the radio will go dead, gauges will drop, fan will stop etc. The engine sputters slightly as well, but doesn't die. This only lasts for about a second, and then everything goes back to normal. At first it only happened once or twice in a couple of weeks, but now it happens five or six times on a 15 minute trip. Any thoughts on what could be the culprit?

Check/replace the ignition switch for wear or pitting. Contact Honda and see if there has been a problem with the switch and if it might be covered.

Loss of power in Honda civic 1990 [ 2 Answers ]

I have a 1990 honda civic dx 1.5 lost all power all at once. Doesn't really want to go up hills. Changed fuel, air, spark plugs and oil filters. Idles sometimes seems a little off. When in third sometimes doesn't seem like the proper rpms when going over speed for that gear.
