Don't do what sluts do and the impression will change. That is, don't date too many guys, don't get intimate with people who are not long-time boyfriends, don't talk about your intimate life with anyone other than your committed boyfriend, don't flirt with other girls' boyfriends and don't wear revealing clothing. Do something positive - get involved in school or get a job in a nice place, and be selective about your friends. If you feel like people will never change, don't worry - focus on school, get out of there and go away to college or trade schoo0l or the military or whatever you are planning next in your life, and you can reinvent yourself there. People do it all the time and you can do it, too.

Exactly, if people are calling you a slut it is either one or more of three things. 1. You have been sleeping around. 2. Someone doesn't like you enough to start bad rumors about you. Or 3. If you dress or act slutty. If any of these (one or more) are things that are happening to you, then 1. Stop sleeping around. 2. Find out who it is and talk (TALK, no yelling or accusing) to the offending party to know why he/she is doing to you. Or 3. Stop dressing or acting slutty. Simple. Also, as long as you are not a slut, don't let your feelings be hurt by what other people say or think, because you know who you are and the more you worry about it the more confused you will be and you will start second guessing yourself. Be comfortable with who and how you are and you will see that people will acting the same toward you as you do to yourself.

Hi, I don't know how old you are but I'm in my teens and I seem to have the same problem:/
Here's sum advice hope it works for you:) 1. don't hookup with different guys every weekend, 2. don't get drunk all the time, 3. don't talk about your sex life to ANYONE, 4. have a break from boys for a while; focus on yourself, 5. smash the chick that's talken **** about you!:D hope things work out for you.

I'm going through the same thing. Well, to be honest, I am a slut. I kissed my best friend's boyfriend and I completely repent for doing that. I lost my best friend, who was an amazing person and the only one who really knew me inside out, I also lost my reputation at school :'( . But I have changed my ways, I don't flirt around and I reject every guy that asks me out and I'm planning to get involved in school activities. Guess that's the way you can gain your respect back. :) Hope I could be of some help.

I don't want you guys to get a bad impression , but I know how you feel :L not many people know what an actual slut is and will usually just think you are if you have more guy friends. That's why everyone else thought I was. :L

But it also depends on the way you portray your body. If you take photo's with tiny shorts and your boobs hanging out.. think again , it is a bit trampy and you should tone it down..

I know how you feel because this guy was trying to hlp me find something out and didn't know how to edit the inboxes I was getting.. so he postd everything on my Facebook wall and then people thought I was crushing on 5 guys at a time.

Just block those people out and don't get anxious around them. Relax. And act like they don't matter. Trust me , it works.

They'll realise sooner or later that their wasting their time teasing you.

Or just move schools. Like I am.. at the end of the year :/
