Trying to find a dental college for root canal/crown
I am on the verge of losing my #29 tooth (bicuspid), dentist says nerve is dead and needs root canal then crown. I only have a prepaid dental plan, the 670.00 that the endodontist wants for just the root canal is not possible on my married solo income of 20k. I am in the jacksonville Florida area and can travel if necessary. I am in a desperate attempt here to save my tooth, but can't afford to have the root canal, nor the crown at the current prices. I have assurant employee benefits prepaid dental plan if that may be a plus somehow. If anybody knows of anyplace college wise that can do a root canal for minimal $$$, please let me know. Phone numbers, contacts, anything that will possibly help me save my tooth is GREATLY appreciated. Please e-mail me at [email protected] Thank you very much - Roy

I don't think dental colleges do that type of work. They are a pretty elite group. I would suggest asking your office administrator about your dental insurance, that is why you have it and you are probably paying into it monthly anyway, right ?
