    Hi 202Trenton and welcome, several things can be done from snaking out the drain to increasing the size of the drain, but for a better answer we need more info. Are you on septic or city? Size of drain? Post back , Ok?

    Purchased a new washing machine, the machine is draining faster than the old
    One. I have had a plummer snake drain, no blockage and added drano type products. Washing machine drains into 2 1/2 inch pipe into city sewer line. Sewer pipe goes under cement slab of home out to street.

    No, I do not know what a compression fitting is or what it does. Now, the black
    Rubber hose from washer just sits into drain pipe.

    I posted a picture in the last post of one type of compression fitting you can buy at any hardware, Lowe's or home depot.. Just buy the one that fits your stand pipe, remove washer drain hose and glue compression fitting to stand pipe. Here's a different kind that needs no glue. Good luck and let us know how it works, OK?

    My concern is what happens to the water that is being pressured out of the
    Washer, does it slow the pressure of water back at washer or in pipe. I'll
    Try compression fitting and let you know. Thank you for your help.
