    Joint custody
    Will I get in trouble as a father for takeing my child from the baby sisters and takeing her with me to my fameilys? We have not been to court yet and we are both on the birth certifict

    Did the mother know you were getting them, Did the sitter have permission to give you the child. Are you giving child back latter ?

    Absent a court order you have equal rights to the child. However, if you interfere with the mother's rights, the court will not look kindly on it. Also, you could get the baby sitter in trouble (I assume you meant baby sitter, not baby sister) if she did not have permission to release the child to you.
