I started bleeding very lightly early in the pregnancy with my first child, and a few times throughout. I saw a doctor the first time it happened but was assured everything was fine. The other times I didn't see a doctor, but probably should've to check. Still I gave birth to a healthy boy..
With my fourth pregnancy I started bleeding again, and wasn't so worried at first. However the bleeding continued and at times was heavier than what it had been with my son.. I eventually called the medical centre and was advised to come straight in for any bleeding during pregnancy. I was 11 weeks at the time. I was sent for scans, and had a moderate peristaltic heamotoma. I was told they just didn't know with this one, how it would turn out. I was ordered at least two weeks of complete rest with feet up. I bled for over 3 weeks, as I didn't go straight to the doctor, but rested until the bleeding stopped, not even lifting a milk bottle & only getting up to go to the toilet. It was difficult to do, and seemed like forever, but I was lucky to have the support of my partner and mother.. My gorgeous baby girl arrived 5 days early, in January of this year.
Go see a doctor, the thought may be scary, but if I hadn't gone I would've lost my little girl.
