Converting from single handle faucet to dual handle
I am replacing a single handle kitchen faucet with a dual handle but there is only one supply line. Is there something special I need to do?

there is only one supply line.
On your one handled valve you have two inlet connections. N One hot and the other cold. N How many shutoff valves you have under the sink in the cabinet? Back to you, Tom

    Hi big

In the sink cabinet, how many shut off valves do you have coming out of wall? There should be 2(1 hot and 1 cold). U should have a line going from each valve to the faucet.

If this is not your setup ,please give more detail of what you see under sink in cabinet.

I only see one shutoff. It looks like your standard round main shutoff valve vs the typical chrome shutoffs.

If you have both hot and cold you just got to have two supplies feeding the faucet, Can you take a picture? Back to you. Tom

Moen single handle shower -- handle is hard to turn [ 3 Answers ]

The hot water was not working in the guest bathroom. A plumber looked at it, quoted way too much. We replaced the cartridge, and it works just fine. The problem is that now when we turn the handle, it's very hard to turn. The handle is flush against the wall. The other showers in the house have a...

I have a koehler single handle tub/shower asselmbly. The faucet is in the tub, the shower head obviously above and the single handle is in the middle. You pull up on the lever to turn on the water and left to right for hot and cold. You do not have to put it back to center to turn off. Anyway....

Single handle faucet no water [ 0 Answers ]

I have a Price Pfister single lever faucet in bathroom. Noticed it was picky about how it was turned in order for water to come on ( slightly to left or right). Now it won't come on at all. The lever freely moves up and down but nothing happens... kinda feels like it isn't connected to the rest...

Re-install Moen single handle shower handle [ 12 Answers ]

My Moen shower handle came off. I see there is a set screw at the bottom of it. The handle attaches to a plastic piece; however, you have to pull out the plastic piece from the wall to get the handle to fit over the plastic and to give the set screw something to set into. How do I pull out...

Loose single faucet handle [ 3 Answers ]

I have a Moen Kitchen faucet that is about 4 years old. Recently, I've noticed when turning on the water by pulling up on the single handle the whole long necked spout lifts and wiggles tremendously. Someone told me to pop out the logo on the faucet and tighten with an allen wrench but that did...
