Granddaughter throwing up for over week. Congested up. Mostly when lays down. Have taken to doctor, doesn't seem concerned. What do you suggest could be wrong?

How old is your granddaughter? How often has she been throwing up? Does she have a fever and/or diarrhea? Can she keep food or fluids down?

The throwing up could be due to the congestion. Try having her lie down while propped up. If she is in a crib, you can prop one end up slightly with some towels under the mattress. A humidifier, or having her be in a steamy bathroom, may help.

What has been tried so far? What did the doctor think was the problem and what was suggested?

My son suffers from allergies around this time of year and gets very congested. A lot of time, his cough will cause him to throw up, especially at night when he is sleeping. As Doula said, a humidifier is very helpful, and I use it with my son. I also give him a decongenstant and allergy medicine. Many times we have to prop him up in bed or have him sleep in a recliner so that he can breathe without choking (which is what ultimately causes the vomiting).

As Doula mentioned though, the age and more information about your grandaughter is needed before anyone would be able to advise you further.

My 3 week old puppy is throwing up milk every time he nurses, should I worry? He eats plenty and is a fat healthy looking pup. He does seem to have a little bit of a cough when he spits the milk back up.
