    I am 38 I have had my tubes tied in 2003 now I'm late with my period this month I have been catching hot flashes here and there can I be changing life

    Hi citygirl77,

    Yes, it is possible that you are starting to feel some symptoms of perimenopause. This can go on for years. There are other possible reasons, however, for a lack of a period and hot flashes. For example, considerable stress can sometimes be a factor, thyroid issues can be a factor.

    If it continues, it would be a good idea to see your doctor for a check-up.
