hi I am pregnant but my due date has been a topic of discussion , last menses was 06/15/2011, I was seen in ER and was told due date was 03/22/2012-my first OB appt was last aug and I saw the office nurse midwife/nurse practitioner she wrote down due date 04/13/2012. I am very petite 5'1" 92 lbs (before pregnancy), the ultrasound done at 9 weeks said April 16,
the doctor I was seeing in Georgia knew all this, and said he would just keep an eye on it, but would prob. Look at keeping me at the Mar 22 due date.
I relocated due to work at 25 weeks gestation and records transferred, the doctor on my insurance that I have seen only 3 times, I have seen a different dr. each visit for apprx 5 min each time and they will not listen to me at to last menses and said that a lot of people forget when cycles are and when they have had sex.

my first question is is how accurate are ultrasounds? I know my last menstral cycle is correct and I also know that I did not have sex after June 28, 2011?

at my appt yesterday (38 weeks by them, 40+ by original and last menses) they didn't even do a check. Plus have not even done an ultrasound to verify anything (oh and top of this I was considered higher risk at my first dr. due to low hemiglobin and abnormal thyroid that isn't controlled - med changes all the time thought they haven't checked it).

they say I am measuring correctly - I have had fluid leakage (and have told them) =they said don't worry it is just urine, and have had lots of back pain, plus have been to ER twice in last month, where they gave me a shot to stop contractions.

so question 2 is - should they not have checked my cervix at my appt?

thank you - sorry for the complex- but I wish I could switch dr. but with only a few weeks left and new to area - just trying to ride it out, just worried might be putting my baby in danger if go to far over due date.
