    Swag kit for hanging lamps?
How can I build a pendant light with a pull chain? I'd like to build a pendant light to replace a light that was operated by a pull chain, there is no switch in the wall to turn it on and off. I'd really like to use a glass shade, maybe about a 4inch fitter.

You can buy a pull switch in a light socket. Run the wire down the pendant drop.
