General Warranty Deed after a death of spouse when only his name was on it
My husband recently passed away and I just found out that I am not on the warranty deed or deed of trust, the mortgage loan is in his name only, how can I keep our house if I am not on anything?

Is anyone else on the deed?

    Is there a will?

Is there other things, like cars, or bank accounts that are only in his name?

    Where are you located ?

In general in the US, you file in probate court to have the property divided amount the heirs according to state law.
