What if I can't feel my IUD?
Me and my husband can't feel the strings that go to my IUD but my doctor cut them short.

I think you might want to talk to your doctor about that. Not all that helpful, but I have almost zero knowledge of IEDs.

I had one. I also couldn't feel the strings. It wasn't a problem and I saw the Doctor regularly for checkups.

Are you saying you think yours is not there?

You shouldn't be able to feel the strings.

As long as you are getting regular checkups, it shouldn't be a problem.
