HI All,

My husband is in the Air Force and we live in Air Force housing. In 10 years he will come out and we need to have some money in real estate at thatr point. We would like to set up our own business at that point so we need to make as much money as we can in the next 10 years.

Where would be the best place to buy, for both rental income and longer term gains? What sort of property wuld be the best.

Many bases are near good vacation areas. Are you that lucky? If you buy rental property you want to be near it so you can be a hands on landlord, not absentee. If your husbands base is near a retirement or vacation area you could buy there. Boomers are buying vacation and retirement property left and right. It is a good investment.
