    Immigration Question
My in-laws had filed an immigrant petition to their unmarried daughter (over 21 yrs old) on 2003. Then 6 yrs later (2009), they became US citizens. They heard later on that by becoming US citizens, their daughter's petition will have longer waiting time than if they stayed just being green card holders. Is that true? Please explain. Thanks!
