Gmp 110-3 furnace seems dead after bad thunderstorm
I too have checked the power to the door switch, OK, but the 3 amp fuse was blown. Replaced the fuse and tried the furnace again and the fuse immediately blew. The led on the board is out and won't come on even after replacing the fuse, Transformer has 120 in 24 out. Can you give me a direction where to look? I'm thinking its got a blown capacitor somewhere but I don't know where

Thinking of buying a power inverter to install on a vehicle to use for back up power to run my GMP 100 furnace during power outages. Will a modified sine wave inverter work OK and not damage the circuitry or do I need a pure sine wave? Also how many watts does the furnace draw?
