    Early Period
    Hello... I have been on Ortho TC Lo for a couple years now. I first started to regulate my period. My period is due a week from today. Yesterday I noticed a very very tiny amount of spotting. Today a have just slightly more spotting and cramping as if I were getting my period. Since I have been on BC I have never been early. Also I would normally get sore breasts about two weeks before my period... This did not happen this month. My fiancˇ and I are always very careful... I take my BC every night and we never finish sex without a condom. Could I be pregnant?

    Hi Vickie88... welcome to AMHD,

    Although not likely, pregnancy is possible, even with two forms of birth control. It may be that you are having some spotting from the birth control even if it hasn't happened before. Your hormone levels will naturally fluctuate at different times, so it may be enough to cause the spotting. If you had recent intercourse, that can sometimes result in some spotting the next day or two.

    Continue on your birth control, and see what happens when you would expect your next period.
