Ceiling fan works if blades are not attached
I have installed a new Hampton Bay ceiling fan and before I installed the blades I tested the fixture to see that the unit was actually turning, which the previous one was not. After installing the blades, the unit would not turn. Uninstalled the blades, unit turns again. Light has worked the whole time. This unit does not have a remote control and there is not on a dimmer switch. Any ideas?
