Paranormal help in Australia
Our family have always been able to "feel" when a spiritual being is around. But lately at my mothers the feelings are very bad. My 16 yr old sister has always been the mOst sensitive to the paranormal world and lately she is getting really scared at night. Like someone or something is watching the house. The dogs have been going nuts for the past 10 days and 10 days ago mum tried burning white sage to "cleanse" the house. I told her to be careful cause it couLd have upset the entity. Also the house lights up on its own. I'm worried as I'm studying to be a parapsychologist and know fact from false and can see there is something there. My sisters mood changes from going from a bubbly young girl to a very withdrawn and at sometimes down right rude teenager. I know demonic entities like to "attach" themselves to young females at major life changing times and I honestly believe one has taken a liking to my sister. It would also explain why my father basically withdrew himself from the family and became so angry all the time. Please I need to know what to do next to save my sister. Also it needs to be in Australia.

Yes, demonic entities can and do attach themselves not only to individuals but to FAMILIES as well.
If you don't mind, I have several questions. How old are you? If you are studying parapsychology, what does it tell you to do to save your sister? Where did your mother get the idea to burn white sage? When you say your family has always been sensitive, how far back does that go? Is there a history of witchcraft or the occult in your family... even if it is on the "white" side?
Thankfully for you, your sister and the rest of your family, hope is available in Australia too!

Parapsychology is more on to do with the science of hauntings and studying all possibilities such as over exposure to electricity causing hallucinations etc. I am 26. I know that this "sensitive" side is from my mothers side and my grandmother is far back that I have gone. Not sure about the rest. The white sage is something that we have all known about for cleansing but not sure where we learnt it.

And you can also see now how well burning sage works ;)
I also understand the subject of parapsychology, I was just trying to get you to look at your problem from that point of view. Parapsychology has a great reputation of wanting to know "why" but not being able to fully understand the issue at hand. At best it is a field that RECOGNIZES such things are occurring in the world, but really isn't grasping it's true nature.
I am a member of the IBEW and I will tell you right now all that talk about high EMFs causing hallucinations is ridiculous. At best it can be described as slight visual impairment, but to claim that somebody saw an apparition and then to blame it on an electrical field is just not true. It simply doesn't work like that and the only reason people spread that little jewel around is because they are trying their best to GUESS at what is going on.
That being said, keep in mind this is simply my advice to you. I cannot, nor will I try to force you to believe me... it is your choice. Demons to attach themselves to people and families. But this is more of a spiritual issue than a scientific one. Science can only measure and seek to understand OUR plane of existence... these entities do not come from HERE, thus you are going to have a hard time understanding this from a scientific viewpoint. Real help from this issue your sister is experiencing is only going to come from the church. If that just turned you off then I understand that and I thank you for listening thus far... but if you want to know more I am here.

Just because it came from Native Americans does not mean it works. Pity or respect towards a people group does not validate any religious belief. Actions speak louder than words and to put it bluntly I have found that burning sage works just as much as having a home blessing done... which is to say that it rarely works.
Please don't get me wrong, I am not disagreeing merely to disagree. I only want to provide practical reasons something may or may not work in dealing with the spirit world. In the end it is still up to the OP to accept or disregard advice given. All advice is welcome, but it also may be challenged.

I have a problem with this statement. How is it that you can only relate to your own experience when the science behind it clearly shows different? There have been studies that show certain groups of people to be more susceptible to EMF then others. Here is only part of a famous study and the explination of what is happening along the way.
Quote:
Dr. Persinger has found that, by using a soundproof chamber and a helmet covered in electro-magnets to expose that region of the brain to increased EMF, a decrease is seen in the melatonin levels in the brain. This in turn causes tiny, epileptic-like seizures, which then cause hallucinations. According to his research, over 80% of subjects reported feeling “a presence” in the locked room with them, proving that these targeted EMF fields indeed have an effect on brain chemistry and human behavioral reactions.

The feeling of a presence I have no problem believing. It doesn't take much to "feel" high EMFs. My only problem is with the hallucinations. I'm not saying I don't believe it because I have never experienced them. What I am saying is that the hallucinations these studies refer to aren't the full on apparition floating around type that people think they are. Possible shadows in the corner of eye and other slight vision related occurrences are also fine with me. But when somebody says they had a clear first hand experience with a visible personage... THAT sort of hallucination I just simply cannot buy into.
Now, as with the OP taking advice or not, I am fine with the fact that people WILL believe high EMFs can cause such severe hallucinations. However, when it is brought up as an explanation I will be there to show that not everybody believes this to be a possibility. It's just me trying to show the flipside of it. I am trying my best to stay away from the argumentative sort of discussions and I'm sorry if you took that statement to be that way.
