    Briggs & Stratton 5 HP model 130292
I have a rototiller with a Briggs & Stratton 5 HP motor, model 130292. The motor makes a high pitch squeal while running and the starter rope comes out a few inches. I see by a previous post that it might be the clutch assembly. How can I verify before I order the part?

Could the ratchet be bad and hanging up on the crank shaft? If so, can I replace that part or do I have to replace the whole assembly? How would I know?

I tore it apart and cleaned the assembly and inside the ratchet sleave. I also tightened the pull rope. Works good for now. I'll let you now how it runs tonight when I till the rest of my yard.
    Thanks for your help,
