    Replace receiver on brookedale hampton bay fan
    Do I have to bring the whole thing down to replace it?
    The receiver it's not in the cannopy.

    It is located in top of motor housing, sometimes it can be done on the ceiling, just depends on how handy you are. Have you tried re-channeling it?
