I think I invented a new invention and even have a patent for it.
I would like to make this thing real, so how should I start? Who should I ask for the help? Does something know more about this topic?

If you 'think' you have a new invention, then I seriously doubt you already have a 'patent' for it. A patent proclaims a new invention unique and has never been invented before.

A new invention must be researched to make sure it has never been done before and to start you should go to the govt. website United States Patent and Trademark Office which will explain how to start and ground rules applicable.

Why would anyone give a reddie to this excellent, perfectly honest and correct information. I worked for a patent lawyer for years in Toronto!

Your public library has (or can get for you) a NOLO (legal) guidebook on how to develop a new invention from beginning to end. It includes information and tips on the patent process as well as creating a prototype. If you can't find the book in the catalog/database, please ask for help at the reference desk.
