    Which is suppose to be better a 56k voice or a 56kfax modem? And why

    I wouldn't consider one "better" as they each have a specific use. However, if cost is the same, the voice modem could be considered superior in the sense that it would support telephony applications that the fax modem could not.

    If this is an academic question, I'm curious what the professor thinks is the "right" answer.
