    Your three other posts have been deleted, they were posted under the internet question area about emails. This thread was posted as a answer to a two year old thread and was moved.

    You noted this was from a friend. You will do a new deed that will be signed over and filed at the court house, you really should use a title company or real estate attorney. Also consider title insurance

    Are you buying the property for cash or financing? Is their currently a mortgage on the property?

    As Chuck said, the process (which varies by location) is to have the seller sign a deed to you and then register that with the local Record of deeds (usually the county clerk).
