No blower motor start or ignition on Goodman GMNT080-4
I have a Goodman GMNT080-4 that is not igniting. The inducer motor starts and runs for some time, but the main blower motor never kicks on (even though I can hear the switches clicking) and the ignitors never light. Also, when the thermostat fan blower control is switched to "on" from "auto", the fan blower never turns on.
No red lights blinking. I'm thinking bad blower motor or control switch. How about you? |

I posted before about my air handler not kicking on. I crawled up to the attic. I found that if I spin the blower motor once by hand, the unit will run normally until it is turned off. Then, it won't start as before. Is this the capacitor on the side of the blower? It is a Goodman heat pump...
The furnace will kick on, three out of four burners will kick on then shut off and restart, most times all four will come on. I have have the service men out twice, and I could not duplacate the problem. They cleaned everything and shake their head.It's driving me crazy.
I have a 2 year old Goodman, gas, no heat pump. There is a flashing LED that blinks once ever 4 seconds. Also, blower motor does not stay on always. We did smell something like an electrical burn. I'm guess my blower motor is fried?
