    Ampreges on home wiring?
    I bought 10-3 wire to wire a 220 auto lift,do I use a double 30 amp circuit breaker or a double 40 amp circuit breaker in my fuse panel

    2 pole 30 amp is the max for #10 wire

    You should use the wiring and breaker appropriate for the load served.
    Why did you buy 10/3?

    What is the rating of the lift?
