What are these painful red lumps on my knees and below that are making joints hurt?
2 months ago I got these red painful lumps on my ankles that also made my ankle joints hurt too, even my toe joints. Where ever there was a red lump the nearest joint hurt. I thought that I would just go away. Well it did after 2-3 days. Then I started getting the same looking red lumps on my legs they would be there for 1-2 days and then go away on their own... The next time I got them they were up to my knees and then my knees joints would hurt, it hurt to bend them, so I finally decided to go to the doc in town, she thought that it could be R.A.. blood test came back and that wasn't it.. then I went to another doc.. he ran some more test and everything was fine, he gave me a inflammation shot and perscribed me some antibiotics and Ketoprofen (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory pills). About 4-5 hours after that shot all my red lumps and pain and joint pain went away... That's was on a Friday so I couldent get my meds until Monday, so Monday comes along and my red lumps and pain is back until I start taking my meds and then they go away again I'm still taking the pills but its like they don't help as good as they did when I first started taking them.. If anyone has a clue to what this could be please I would love to check it out anything to make this stop.. thanks ( Here's a picture I don't know if you can see it well but that's what it looks like)
