I am 16weeks and 5 days pregnant. I started cramping and bleeding (a lot of blood) at 14 weeks and went into the ER where they said it was a threatened miscarriage but the baby looked fine so I just needed to stay in bed until two days after the bleeding stopped and talk to my OB. I left messages for my OB but they were never returned. I have a small home Doppler so just continued to check my baby's heartbeat. The bleeding stopped after nine days. Then 3 days later (the day before my doctors appointment) I started cramping and bleeding again but it was not too heavy so I decided to stay in bed for the day and talk to my doctor at my appointment. At my appointment the doctor listened to the heartbeat and said it sounded fine so the bleeding must be due to stress, heavy lifting or being on my feet too long. I don't lift anything heavy and I am careful to rest whenever I have cramps or am tired. Is there anything else that I can do to stop the bleeding for good and should I be worried about anything else if I can still hear her heartbeat?
