    What are the procedure for adopting 13-year-old granddaughter. Had since 2 months.
    Granddaughter wants to be adopted. Had her since she was 2 mo. Mother abandoned her (whereabouts unknown). Son is the father. Is willing to give up his rights. What do I need to do?

    Get a lawyer and start thr proceedings. This is not something you can do by yorself if there is a missing parent. You want to ensure the I's are dotted and the T's crossed.
