    Slow toilets drip?
We live in a 3-story townhouse. There are 2 bathrooms on the third floor. When on the first floor you can hear a constant dripping which seems to point to water coming from the floor above. There are 3-5 seconds between drip noises and the drip itself seems like it takes a relatively long to me to drop, i.e. falling from the third floor to the first. There is no sign of leakage anywhere, just the drip falling within the pipe. When the tank is drained to try and identify which bathroom toilet is making the noise, should I soak up the water left around the stopper? Is it only a stopper problem?

    Any comments?

Close off the supply line to one toilet and flush it. Wait 15-20 minutes and see if the drip is gone. If not, try doing the same with the othet toilet. This will narrow down which toilet has the issue which I suspect is a very slowly leaking flapper. When you figure out which one is the problem come back and we'll do the flapper fix.

I just developed a slow drip from the ceiling below my 2nd fl. Master bath. The wet spot on the ceiling seems to be right below one of the sinks, but could also be in the path of the drain pipe from the shower or even the toilet. I can't determine any source of leaking from the second floor. ...

I am fearing that in an effort to save time, I plugged up the mainline. I flushed some clumping kitty litter. It plugged the toilet. I plunged it like a hundred times. It freed. Fine for a couple days. Then, toilets fill up, don't go down right away. In the upstairs bathroom, if you...
