Depends on where you are but the answer most likely is yes... and I hope he goes to jail for it. Any guy that age that would have sex with someone your age is a pedophile and the pig should be locked up.

Any question on law needs to know your general local as laws vary by location. Age 16 is at the age of consent in many places.

Judge you how? You were taken advantage of. However, no one should engage in sexual intercourse unless they are ready to have a child. So even though you may not have legally been able to give consent. It sounds like you may have agreed to this.

Even if you said yes, that is still so wrong.

Depending on where you live, age may not be the only determining factor. His relationship to you could also be used to determine if it is statutory rape. For example in North Carolina (the state I live in), someone who is or has been in a position of authority over you (such as a babysitter, teacher, coach, volunteer at your school, etc.) can be charged. The law here also includes touching and other acts like showing genitalia.

I agree that you shouldn't be blamed. I do hope though that you have discussed this with your parents/guardians.

I do think a 48 year old man needs to be held accountable for his own behavior and any acts that he used to get a teenager to have sex with him.

In most parts of the United states.. and I do mean ALMOST every state... thats statutory rape. And you as the minor would have nothing to say about the prosecution.

And I have to question what any normal 48 man year old would see in a 16 year old kid... you would share almost nothing in common on the intellectual front. There isn't just a generation gap... there is generation CHASM.

Was this a family member or a close family friend, Or perhaps a teacher ?

But the man I will judge , he is a pedophile and has taken advantage of you. It is against the law in many places and this man needs to be reported.
