He can be charged and possibly convicted if any adult wishes to press charges.
It could be administrators at your school, for instance, or a social worker.
It is clear from what you say that you have no idea what you are facing, legally, financially, and emotionally.
Assuming your chef boyfriend has a good job, what will it be like stuck at home alone with a crying baby who needs a diaper change every few hours? Cute babies can make you feel trapped really fast when you are 14 and all your friends are having fun. Chefs tend to work long hours. Most of yours will be without him.
Then there's the requirement that you stay in school. What are your plans for that?
Who is going to cover medical expenses, never mind baby items?
What state are you in? For your own protection you should want to be married as soon as you can. Romantic love wears off faster than the latest song.

I find it hard to believe that your parents don't have a problem with this. He's a legal adult and you're not... and they are OK with it?

Joy is right... it's not going to be easy on you by any stretch at your age.

He is a sexual predator in the eyes of the law and, yes, he can be charged if someone wants to take the time and trouble to charge him.

I think a 14 year old with a baby will need more assistance than someone who cooks for her, but that's just my opinion.

    EDIT: What Country or State?

    Hello res:

Not only CAN he be charged, he WILL be charged. Somebody in the system will ask questions and call the cops. You can bank on it.

And if your parents say that they were OK with this, they may even go to jail also. They can not agree to allow a criminal act to happen. So yes the boyfriend very well may go to prison, and should. So what culinary school did he graduate from? What type of place is he a chef at?
And that is good, since cooking in prison is one of the better jobs there.

You can marry at 14 in Alabama with parental consent. California has no limit with parental permission.

This has always rather confused me but the age of consent for sex in some cases is not the same age at which a person can marry - and have sex. In Alabama the parties can marry at 14 but the age of consent is 16.

Correct me if I'm wrong -

Yes he should be charged. Any 19 yr old who has sex with a 14 yr old, should know better.

I suspect your parents are "OK with this" AFTER the fact. They don't want to lose you. But the fact is your boyfriend committed an illegal act by having sex with you. And he SHOULD be punished for it.

In California you will need her parents permission to get married but be prepared to go to jail as a sex offender.

Age of consent in CA is 18. And the close in age exception is 3 years. So he is guilty of statutory rape. Moreover CA is cracking down on teenage pregnancies. So it is probably someone (school, doctor, parents, etc.) will report it to the authorities.

Yesterday you were the girl asking what can happen to her boyfriend. Today you are the boyfriend trying to get out of going to jail by marrying her.

Fortunately for you, CA has no minimum age to marry. But if either person is under the age of 18 they need parental consent. If her parents don't agree, you probably go to jail.
