    Murry 17.5 briggs with a 42inch cut
    Mower will turn over just won't fire thinking it's a safety switch how can I jump them to see

    Most of the time if it cranks its not a safety switch.
    Check fuel , try spraying a little carb cleaner in the carb and see if it fires ,

    I agree with DG. Kill switches kill then dead as a doornail. Try removing the plug, reinstall the wire, ground the plug to the block and turn it over. Any spark, if so what color?

    Thanks for your time, took off the wires at the bottom of the carb shot some switch cleaner on it pluged it back in and she fired up, that's after finding and cleaning every safety switch. What do those wires at the bottom of the carb do?

    Those go to the fuel solenoid..
