Hi guys, trying to remember the name of a book
Starts in today's time with a guy who's mother died when he was born. He meets a lady called Sophie I think who's a historian? He has problems with having sex as he gets a miagrane every time he tries. During their relationship they're trying to find out more about his mothers life and family.

The story keeps cutting back to the past of his mothers life who I think is called lily? She lives with her father who end up marrying a woman who is horrible and Lily runs away from home and ends up living in a house with a father and his 6 sons. She falls in love with each of them individually, but there is one of the sons who is badly scarred and treats her nastily.

After a while she falls in love with him last of all, but it is true love and she falls pregnant. When she gives birth she dies and none of them know who the father of the child is. Back in today's time, the guys gets a paternity test and they find out that it was the scarred man who is the father. It's not an erotic story, but more a story about how there are different types of love.

I really can't remember the name of this one!! And I really really want to read it again!!
