    How much for an ECU?
I have a 92 civic hatch si made from canada. I believe the ECU is bad. I checked for the signals and there were none, the CEL light just stayed on. How much would an ECU be? I've been trying to find out online but I can't seem to find a price. Please help! I've just got my car to start running, but every time I turn on my car the clock resets itself. Does that have to do with the ECU or ECM or just wiring? Because I last week I did installed a new cd player.

Here's approximately what a remanufactured ECM goes for:

What were your results of the K-Test? From the CEL staying on and all of the problems you have described, I bet the K-Test will indicate your ECM is bad. It's not unusual for Hondas over 10 years old to have bad ECMs.

Honestly I've read over and over the k-test you provided. I don't know where the MAP sensor is or how to use the multimeter. :(
I have a picture of what my multimeter looks like but I don't know how to upload it or if I even can do that. Please help me. I really want to get down the root of this. Thank you so much!

I also forgot to mention that I left the wires connected to the ecu while I drove to the store and back to work. I noticed that my clock had not reseted. But when I took it out and started my car again, it reseted.
