If you have never had intercourse (penile penetration), you are a virgin. The presence or absence of a hymen or the size of your vagina has nothing to do with it. Penile penetration (or not) is the only criterion.

If you have not had a penis inserted even part way into your vagina, then you are by all measures a virgin.

Size of the opening is not an indication of whether you are a virgin.

While most women have the same parts, they all vary in the details. I don't know what criteria you are using to determine how your parts are formed, but I am sure you are 'normal'.

Here is a helpful bit of info... the vagina doesn't get larger by having sex. I've slept with mothers of four children that were tighter than some virgins.

As others have said... if you had sex... and was penetrated the tiniest bit even for a split second... you aren't a virgin any more... and there is no "technically" to it... or scientifically... you either are... or you aren't... and it's a one way street... once you aren't... you aren't until the day you die even if you remain celibate afterwards.

The hymen being intact or not is not an accurate indicator in itself. Some are torn as children during normal play... while others don't tear and need cut by a doctor.

Interestingly - and I can't find it now - some time ago someone posted about an organization through which a person (or using their guidelines) "abstained" for a number of years and was "revirginized." It was about whether the OP could tell her partner/husband that she was, in fact, a virgin, based on "revirginization." Interesting theory but I can't find the thread.

    I, however, agree with Smoothy.

And I'd still like to know the standards by which OP is concerning herself.

If you had no intercourse you are still a virgin but have sex is not the only way for your virginity to be taken if a finger is inserted inside of you it can be broken there's a little object that's blocks the inside of you vagine its like a tissue if a finger is inserted it can push it away

You are no longer a virgin only if there is penile insertion.

A finger inserted and it breaks your hymen doesn't mean you aren't a virgin. Or if you break your hymen during sports or horseback riding or just as you live your life doesn't mean you aren't a virgin.

Only a penis entering a woman makes her no longer a virgin.

He's a virgin and I'm not [ 3 Answers ]

So I met this guy a while ago and we really hit it off. I thought it was getting a little too serious too quick, and I let him know. That's when he said "i'm a virgin" and he's 23.
