How can I delay my periods?
I gave birth to a baby boy 1 month back. I am going to perform my religious obligation ummrah after 15 days for which I don't want my periods to come back for the next month. Kindly advice me what to do as I am breastfeeding also?

Please clarify. Going to Mecca should not affect your cycle. Can you clarify what you are asking so that we might be able to help further?

Please correct me if I am misunderstanding your request for information:

I think you are asking if there is something you can do or take to delay getting your period while you are performing your religious duty.

Since you recently gave birth and are currently breast feeding, you want to make certain that anything you do is safe for you and your child.

Have you had a period since giving birth or are you worried about getting the first one while you are on your pilgrimage?

Yes exactly... tell me something I can do to delay getting my periods for performing my religious duty and that obviously should be safe for my baby as I am breastfeeding... I didn't have my periods since giving birth and its been a month today and yes I am worried about getting the first one while on pilgrimage...

If you are OK with answering, what is your religion? This may help us answer more thoroughly

Are you exclusively breastfeeding? If so, you will likely not have period return for quite some time. You will need to be sure that you only offer the breast and continue feeding frequently... on demand. Frequent feeds will inhibit ovulation and periods.
