German email/letter writing for beginner to penfirend
    Hello!

I am going on a German exchange trip in March and need some help. I need to write an email to the person I am going to be staying with while I am in Germany. I have only been learning German for a few months and have never written a letter in german before.
In my letter I would like to write the following things.

    -Introduce myself
    -Talk about where I live
-details of my family (I live with mum and dad, have a sister but she does not live at home)
Does anyone know how to say these things and put them into a letter?
    Any help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance your help is really appreciated.

Don't use Google translate or any other machine translation. There are too many mistakes and it wouldn't make a good impression. I'm a native German speaker, so if you want my help, let me know.
